Getting Started
Please note that our 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, network is not live yet. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. You can, however, request a Veridian Mobile leased (or owned) mobile feature phone, which operates on the DECT network. It is unlikely that these will be available for a while, and there are no guarantees they will be at all, however requesting a mobile is completely free and we will add you to the waiting list as one of the first to get hold of one. We may reach out to you directly over email with any updates. What is DECT?
- Purchase your plan on the Subscriptions page.
- Complete the payment via the provided Google Form, entering:
- Your address for SIM delivery.
- Your personal email address.
You will also see the Veridian Mobile PayPal email, and payment instructions.
- Once you receive your SIM card, check your email (subject: *Veridian Mobile Account Information*) for:
- Your mobile number.
- Account credentials (Display Name, Username, Password, Domain).
- The Veridian Mobile Wi-Fi access code.
- Connect your phone to the "Veridian Mobile" Wi-Fi network using the provided password.
- Install the Linphone app:
- For iPhone: Download from the App Store (iOS 18.2 or later required).
- For Android: Download from Google Play Store.
- Open Linphone and enter your credentials from the email:
- Click on the 'USE SIP ACCOUNT' button.
- Enter your account details from the *Veridian Mobile Account Information* email.
- Insert the SIM card into your phone.
- Set Linphone as your default calling app:
- For iPhone: Navigate to Settings > Phone > Default Calling App > Select Linphone.
- For Android: Navigate to Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Phone App > Select Linphone.
- Test your connection by calling *43 for an echo test.
Note: For the Apple users, your iPhone must be updated to iOS 18.2 or later!
Note: Your SIM card will only be shipped, once the payment is received.
